Role Overview:
The Paid Media Specialist will spearhead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media initiatives across McLaren's digital platforms. This role is essential in crafting comprehensive paid media strategies that encompass the entire funnel, managing campaign delivery across social media, search engines, and other digital channels, ensuring that our product launches throughout the year are backed by premier media execution.
We seek a proactive media expert with extensive knowledge in paid social, paid search, SEO, and digital strategy. You will leverage your technical skills, platform expertise, and strong analytical abilities, thriving in collaborative environments. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing McLaren's performance marketing efforts, overseeing everything from campaign setup to optimization, reporting, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Head of Digital Marketing and is an integral part of McLaren Racing's broader digital team, closely collaborating with our social media, content, and digital marketing teams.
The role offers a hybrid working model; however, a minimum of three days per week at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK, is required. McLaren thrives in a fast-paced and high-performance environment. Due to the nature of the racing industry and social media dynamics, this position may necessitate working during non-standard hours and occasional travel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive paid media planning across channels including Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
- Implement campaigns using platform-specific tools such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok For Business, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Oversee the entire campaign lifecycle, including briefing, setup, optimization, pacing, targeting, creative execution, and performance tracking.
- Optimize budget distribution across channels to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve campaign objectives.
- Create annual and campaign-specific media strategies that align with product launches, brand initiatives, and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with the content and social media teams to shape creative development, ensuring that all assets adhere to platform best practices and performance insights.
- Manage media performance reporting by collecting data, analyzing outcomes, and providing actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Assist in SEO initiatives by working with content and web teams on technical SEO improvements and content optimization.
