In this position, you will be responsible for enforcing court orders and supervision conditions, meeting with offenders both in office settings and within the community.
Your responsibilities will include investigating complaints, assisting offenders in their community adjustment, and implementing strategies to prevent future offenses. You will conduct detailed investigations, prepare case histories, and create individualized pre-release and parole plans. Additionally, you will conduct counseling sessions, recommend constructive solutions for challenges faced by offenders, and perform drug and alcohol testing. Building professional relationships with law enforcement and social service agencies is essential to your role, as is maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
