As a Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients
- Processing VAT returns while understanding VAT requirements, concepts, and calculations
- Addressing day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll inquiries
- Managing payroll processing for various companies each pay period (weekly, monthly, and annually)
- Ensuring timely payroll summaries are delivered to each company
The ideal Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist will possess:
- Prior experience in an outsourced finance function
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Xero
- A qualification like AAT or relevant experience
- Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
