At Soho House, the role of a Club Host serves as one of the initial points of contact for members, guests, and staff as they embark on their dining journey. As a Club Host, you will warmly greet guests, manage incoming calls, and facilitate reservations for our Club and Food & Beverage operations. Your exceptional organizational skills and engaging personality will foster positive experiences from the moment guests arrive until their departure.
In a successful capacity as a Club Host, you may also take on the responsibility of training fellow reception team members on the established processes and service standards at Soho House. As an experienced Host, proficiency in our phone system is critical, alongside a welcoming demeanor and the ability to ensure that all anticipated covers are accounted for during service, with tables prepared for each reservation's arrival.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every member and guest by name (when applicable) and warmly welcome new guests to create a hospitable atmosphere.
- Manage high-volume phone lines, confidently answering inquiries regarding menus, hours of operation, and amenity availability, including restaurant, roof, and cinema reservations.
- Facilitate reservations for the Club and restaurants while assisting F&B Managers with service execution and standards.
- Interact with guests through all calls and communications with warmth, accuracy, and discretion.
- Collaborate with the reception team to ensure exceptional service for all members while effectively managing expectations.
- Develop relationships with members and guests, relaying feedback and concerns to management for assessment.
- Contribute to a positive and enjoyable atmosphere through approachability and professionalism.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
