As a Medication Assistant in Memory Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing, ordering, and providing assistance with residents' medication requirements.
- Accurately transcribing and documenting within the Medication Assistance Record.
- Supporting residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), monitoring vital signs, administering first aid, managing wound care, and liaising with external healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Being vigilant to any changes in residents' physical or mental well-being and promptly reporting these to leadership.
- Transporting residents throughout the community for activities, inter-departmental needs, or dining.
- Responding to emergency calls, requests from residents and visitors, and addressing environmental hazards promptly and safely.
