The Part-Time Operations Support Technician plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency across various areas within our facility. This position is designed for flexibility and is focused on task completion to support production, compliance, inventory management, sanitation, and general upkeep of the premises. The technician will engage in both routine operations and special projects, contributing to a compliant, organized, and production-ready environment.
Key Responsibilities
Core Functions:
Operational & Production Support
- Execute seed-to-sale labeling in accordance with both regulatory and company standards.
- Assist with ad hoc labeling and rework projects as necessary.
- Support machine trimming and bucking operations.
- Facilitate rework initiatives across different departments.
- Perform assigned tasks to aid daily operations.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
Inventory Management & Organization
- Assist in reconciling packaging component inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Engage in 5S activities to promote organized and efficient workspaces.
- Carry out additional duties as needed.
Laundry & Sanitation
- Manage the washing and maintenance of uniforms and work attire.
- Support sanitation tasks during assigned shifts, including coverage for night sanitation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Facility & Grounds Maintenance
- Conduct general cleaning and sanitation of the facility.
- Perform carpet cleaning when necessary.
- Undertake basic painting and minor renovation tasks.
- Hang signage, equipment, and other materials as directed.
- Power wash the exterior of the building and designated areas.
- Maintain interior cleanliness and organization.
