Position Overview:
The Behavioral Health Technician plays a crucial role in our residential and inpatient environment by leading therapeutic activity groups, helping clients develop skills to manage their eating disorders, fostering a recovery-oriented atmosphere, and offering essential support and guidance.
Schedule:
- Part-time position, 0.4 FTE (16 hours/week)
- 3rd shift, from 10 PM to 6:30 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays are required
Compensation Disclosure:
- BHT I: Starting hourly range between $18.00 - $22.00
Final compensation offered will be based on qualifications and experience relevant to the position.
Empowering Recovery:
- Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team on care plans and treatment, assists in client admissions, and supports programming.
- Engages in therapeutic meals and snacks while providing support during structured outings and recreational activities.
- Actively engages with clients, challenges them, and provides support as needed while documenting observations.
- Monitors and supports bathroom use according to treatment protocols and tracks exercise activity.
- Enforces policies and completes all required tasks, including hourly room checks.
