Salary: FTE £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (up to £21,000 pro rata).
Term: Permanent.
Reports to: Head of People. Company Size: Approximately 65 employees, with ambitious growth plans.

Role Overview: City Science is a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization that has transitioned its People function in-house over the past two years. We are dedicated to building a practical and scalable People offering tailored to our unique needs, and we are excited to introduce a new role: People Team Advisor.
The People Team Advisor will provide hands-on, comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of People activities. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adeptly manages competing priorities, and enjoys alternating between operational tasks and improvement-focused projects. We seek a candidate who is intuitive, solution-oriented, and professional—someone who fosters growth for both managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
People Administration & Operations:
- Efficiently manage daily People administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain precise employee records and uphold data integrity across all systems, including BrightHR.
- Collaborate with the Finance team by providing accurate and timely payroll-related information.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment through Recruitee, supporting City Science's goal of reducing reliance on external agencies.
- Lead advertising, screening, interviewing, and offer processes.
- Facilitate onboarding to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires.
Employee Relations & Wellbeing:
- Provide balanced, supportive guidance to employees and managers on various People matters.
- Assist with employee relations concerns in a fair, pragmatic, and solution-oriented manner.
