Your main responsibilities will include maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in accordance with our practices. You will actively minimize shrink and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on friendliness and accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate positively with fellow associates.
- Perform cleaning tasks during nights without scheduled vendor services.
- Conduct weekly cleaning of Produce, Market, and Deli departments.
- Organize and maintain the mop room efficiently.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and improve productivity.
- Adhere to QA daily checklists and sanitation standards.
- Comply with hazardous waste cleanup procedures.
- Understand and follow company guidelines and policies diligently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
- Proactively address and report unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
- Maintain a neat appearance in accordance with the Food Lion dress code, including the uniform and name badge.
- Complete required training courses successfully.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
