About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, approachable, and customer-oriented Reception & Café Assistant to join our front-of-house team. In this versatile role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing a warm welcome at the reception and delivering outstanding service in our café. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Reception
- Greet all visitors warmly and professionally.
- Handle inquiries, bookings, and memberships in person, online, and via phone.
- Efficiently operate booking, till, and membership systems.
- Provide current information on centre facilities, classes, and promotions.
- Maintain a tidy and inviting reception area, upholding high standards of presentation.
Café & Retail Service
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including barista-style coffee.
- Offer a selection of light snacks and pre-packaged food items.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Restock café supplies and vending machines as necessary.
- Keep café areas clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
Teamwork & Operational Support
- Collaborate as part of a multi-skilled, team-oriented environment.
- Assist in the execution of events and activities as required.
