The Rental Service Agent role focuses on two key areas:
Customer Experience: Being the point of reference for rental experiences.
Sales Expertise: Specializing in demos and conversions in RV sales.
This position is crucial to ensure every customer concludes their experience with satisfaction, whether starting a rental journey or purchasing their future RV.
THE ROLE
The Rental Service Agent manages all rental operations involving customer contact and conducts professional demonstrations of RVs to convert leads into buyers. This is an operational role that is heavily customer-oriented, combining service, product presentation, operational execution, and commercial follow-up management. In the rental and sales context, this role ensures every vehicle, interaction, and moment experienced by the customer reflects Indie Campers' high standards.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Customer Service and Operations: Overseeing check-in/check-out procedures, conducting briefings, and providing ongoing support during rentals. Handling service recoveries and emergencies with empathy.
Sales Demonstrations and Customer Engagement: Preparing and conducting RV demos, showcasing features and technical specifications while addressing specific customer needs. Ensuring smooth deliveries and complete, accurate documentation.
Sales Conversion and Lead Management: Tracking leads, demos, and follow-ups via CRM. Transforming rental customers into sales opportunities and assisting the RV Sales District and City Lead in achieving targets.
Product Knowledge and Technical Support: Keeping up-to-date knowledge of Indie Campers' RV models and performing basic demos of vehicle systems (lighting, gas, etc.). Identifying issues and reporting them when necessary.
