Chartpak, Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled Watercolor and/or Drawing Instructor to lead art classes at the Michaels store in Pembroke Pines, FL. This part-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity for artists who wish to teach but do not have their own studio space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in realistic watercolor and/or drawing techniques.
- Create engaging lesson plans that help students complete a painting or drawing by the end of each class.
- Promote classes and cultivate a dedicated student base.
Compensation:
- Free Basics: Make a Project Classes (scheduled up to once per month): Hourly rate plus $3 per student.
- Advanced Classes: Watercolor and Drawing Classes: Hourly rate plus $7 per student for 6 students or less; Hourly rate plus $10 per student for 7 or more students.
*Schedules will be established in collaboration with Michaels store management.
Class Duration: Each class lasts two hours.
Certification Requirement: All Grumbacher art instructors teaching at Michaels must undergo certification through Grumbacher.
