- Adhere to all protocols and guidelines outlined in the Tyler Union Safety Management Program and promptly inform management of any discrepancies.
- Set up and operate various machine tools, including drill presses, disc sanders, spindle sanders, table saws, band saws, planners, jointers, and radial saws.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for casting parts or creating patterns, calculate dimensions, and strategize operational sequences.
- Construct offset parting boards and flasks as required.
- Mount and gate working patterns according to specifications.
- Ensure that patterns and core box dimensions meet specifications by utilizing tools such as calipers, scales, or micrometers.
- Repair and modify templates, patterns, and core boxes as needed.
- Label patterns or templates with identification numbers or symbols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
