As a Payroll Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our corporate finance team by providing essential administrative and payroll assistance. Your responsibilities will include running payroll reports, processing payroll in a unionized healthcare environment, and performing various clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating the completion of payroll cycles within a unionized healthcare setting
- Inputting new employee data into payroll systems and aiding in the onboarding process
- Completing NHRIPP (Pension) Terms/Enrollment forms
- Filing Form 7 for WSIB reports
- Generating reports to audit and review pay cycles
- Learning and utilizing payroll software such as Avanti
- Assisting with payroll remittances
- Creating Excel payroll reports for multiple locations
- Managing file organization, including filing paper folders and creating new employee files
- Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor
