Your Role in Natural Environments
This position empowers you to deliver therapy in the most impactful settings—children’s daily environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting pediatric evaluations and standardized assessments in homes and community settings
- Creating functional, individualized treatment plans tailored to children’s daily routines
- Providing play-based, evidence-informed therapy in real-world contexts
- Coaching caregivers with practical, hands-on strategies
- Monitoring progress and thoughtfully adjusting interventions
- Maintaining timely and compliant documentation
- Consistently communicating with families and the AAT team to ensure coordinated care

Requirements
Mandatory:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active North Carolina OT License
- Capability to work independently in community settings
Preferred:
- At least one year of pediatric experience
- Experience in early intervention, home-based, or community pediatric settings
- Knowledge of sensory processing strategies
