The People team at Algolia is in search of a People Operations Specialist (France & EMEA) to spearhead People Operations across France and the EMEA region, focusing on enhancements through systems, automation, and data optimization.
This role intersects People Operations, People Systems, and employee support, with a primary responsibility for managing and responding to People Support Help Desk inquiries. Your main objective will be to deliver prompt, high-caliber responses to employee requests, ensuring a robust support experience on a daily basis. Leveraging insights, you will refine employee lifecycle processes, improve help desk functionality, and streamline operations through enhanced system design and integrations, promoting scalable and efficient workflows.
The ideal candidate has a background working with international, distributed teams and is adept in both HR and technical areas. You should be capable of managing daily operations while identifying areas for workflow enhancement, automation implementation, and data integrity improvements across systems.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
France & EMEA People Operations
- Own comprehensive People Operations for France & EMEA, covering onboarding, offboarding, employee data modifications, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to French labor laws and the Syntec collective bargaining agreement (CBA), while remaining aware of wider EMEA obligations.
- Oversee benefits and leave management across EMEA, including but not limited to paid leave, RTT, sick leave, and parental leave.
