In this pivotal role, you will enhance our customer experience while working closely with our internal sales team to manage and grow our Personal Lines Insurance portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining relationships with existing clients, exploring cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring prompt communication of submission packages to the relevant carriers. You will handle customer inquiries regarding coverage, recommend suitable policies, process claims, verify account details, and generate necessary documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate customer data within our AMS360 system.
- Familiarize yourself with our product offerings, underwriting criteria, binding authority, policy forms, and market competitiveness.
- Provide exceptional service by interacting with clients and company representatives via phone and in-person visits.
- Address coverage inquiries, suggest appropriate insurance options, process policy changes, collect premiums, and ensure accurate documentation is submitted to the insurance providers.
- Issue insurance verification documents such as auto IDs and certificates.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with guidance from management.
- Follow up on policies that are up for renewal or cancellation.
- Assist with premium collection and account reconciliation as required.
In addition to servicing existing accounts, you will play a vital role in retaining renewal business by proactively contacting clients to review coverage options. You will also assess current underwriting information to qualify clients for enhanced programs and monitor any significant renewal premium increases. Seeking to expand our existing accounts, you will explore opportunities to provide additional coverage or introduce other lines of business.
