Role Overview
The Personnel Security Officer is fundamental to Helsing’s mission, overseeing the protection of our personnel, sensitive information, and overall objectives. This role involves managing all facets of personnel security, assuring that everyone granted access to sensitive national security and organizational data is reliable, trustworthy, and adheres to rigorous government and company standards. Given our cutting-edge work in AI and software development for defense, the integrity of our team is essential. As the guardian of this integrity, the Personnel Security Officer oversees the entire lifecycle of security clearances, from initial vetting through ongoing care and compliance. Your expertise will be vital in enabling Helsing to deliver advanced capabilities that defend our democracies while meeting the highest security standards required by our government partners.
Daily Responsibilities
In a rapidly evolving defense landscape, we require a Personnel Security Officer capable of operating with precision and initiative. Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous management of national security vetting processes for all personnel and contractors, acting as the primary contact for all vetting-related inquiries. You will also maintain detailed security records, conduct security briefings, and ensure compliance with regulations.
