In February 2023, we joined forces with Amazon, enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional healthcare to a broader audience, including consumers and employers. We’re committed to building a diverse, driven, and empathetic team, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.
The Opportunity
As a Phlebotomist and Administrative Assistant (known internally as Patient Care Specialist) at One Medical's Reston office, you will play a critical role in ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Your responsibilities will include performing venipuncture and providing clinical support services that are essential to our patients' care journeys. You will serve as a welcoming ambassador for our patients, excelling in human connection and demonstrating a strong commitment to service.
In this role, you will remove barriers to care, ensuring a truly exceptional in-office experience. You will maintain the aesthetic and ambiance of the office lobby to align with the One Medical brand. As the first point of contact for patients, you will also provide support as required by the Practice Coordinator, Operations Manager, or healthcare providers.
We seek a proactive team player who employs innovative problem-solving skills to navigate various tasks and challenges. You will combine your excellent specimen collection techniques with strong interpersonal skills during all interactions, both at the front desk and in the lab. With a solid foundation in verbal and written communication, you will identify opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions with empathy and compassion. Self-awareness and a desire for growth will keep you engaged in your daily work. You will thrive in a feedback-oriented culture and remain adaptable to meet the needs of both patients and team members. Your unwavering commitment to helping and serving others will create memorable experiences for our members.
