The Opportunity
In the role of Float Phlebotomist/Front Desk Assistant (internally referred to as Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist), you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for our patients and assist them in an essential part of their healthcare journey through venipuncture and other clinical support services. As a patient ambassador, your strong interpersonal skills and commitment to service will be vital. You will help eliminate barriers to care, ensuring a remarkable in-office experience for our patients. As the first point of contact, you will ensure that the office environment aligns with the One Medical brand while providing additional support as needed to Practice Coordinators, Operations Managers, or providers. This position requires flexibility as you will support multiple offices within the market.
You are a collaborative team player who employs innovative problem-solving skills to address various tasks and challenges. Your excellent specimen collection techniques, combined with empathetic interpersonal skills, will enhance every interaction with patients, both at the front desk and in the lab. Strong verbal and written communication skills will enable you to identify opportunities and deliver customer-centric solutions with compassion and focus. You are self-aware and actively work on leveraging your strengths while developing areas for improvement. You thrive in a culture that values feedback and growth and are adaptable to meet the ever-evolving needs of the practice.
