Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive therapy services within patients' homes, ensuring that all skilled documentation is accurately completed via Homecare Homebase.
Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the patient's plan of care.
Conduct timely clinical documentation and visit notes.
Effectively communicate with physicians, supervising therapists, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and caregivers.
Demonstrate comfort in all facets of the home health environment.
Implement and uphold physical therapy protocols, adapting them for specialty populations as clinically indicated.
Collaborate with supervising therapists to manage and enhance patient functional outcomes.
Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask while achieving deadlines.
Professional appearance coupled with strong communication abilities.
Valid Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Preferred: At least one year of home health experience as a PTA.
Current Texas driver's license.
CPR certification.
Familiarity with healthcare software, particularly Homecare Homebase, is preferred.
