Key Responsibilities:
As a Physical Therapist, you will assist patients in enhancing their mobility, managing pain, and recovering functionality after an injury, surgery, or illness. The successful candidate will evaluate patients' conditions, formulate tailored treatment plans, and guide them through rehabilitative exercises, with a particular emphasis on Neuro. You will assess each patient's situation by examining their range of motion, strength, and pain levels to pinpoint the underlying causes of their limitations.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, and muscle performance.
- Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical protocols.
- Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and additional modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
- Instruct patients and their families on techniques for ongoing recovery, injury prevention, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
- Track patient progress, modify treatments as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation in line with professional standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Oversee and train physical therapy assistants or aides when appropriate.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment.
- Stay informed about current physical therapy practices and research.
