Role Overview: Physical Therapist - PRN

Based in Oklahoma City, this PRN Physical Therapist position focuses on helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and recover function following injury, surgery, or illness. The role emphasizes neuro rehabilitation and involves evaluating patient conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and guiding patients through rehabilitative exercises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments of patients' strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, and muscle performance.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans using assessment findings and clinical guidelines.
  • Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat or cold therapy.
  • Educate patients and families on recovery techniques, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants or aides as appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
