Role Overview:
The Physical Therapy Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, working closely under the supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists. Your contributions will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care to our patients, following state practice acts and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and treatment spaces for patient use.
- Assist and observe patients during therapeutic exercises, documenting their responses.
- Administer basic treatments, such as applying ice packs and heat pads, as directed by therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, including laundry duties.
- Support administrative tasks such as patient intake, handling phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth clinic operations.
