What Does a Physical Therapy Technician Do?
- Work under the close supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- Assist in providing high-quality patient care in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attentiveness to contribute to our clinic's success.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient use.
- Assisting patients with prescribed therapy exercises and documenting their progress.
- Carrying out basic treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as directed.
- Maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, and laundering linens.
- Performing administrative duties such as patient intake assistance, handling phone inquiries, and scheduling appointments.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as assigned.
