What Does a Physical Therapy Technician Do?
- As a Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists, contributing to patient care and rehabilitation.
- You will adhere to state laws and company policies while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
- Having strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail is essential for providing outstanding patient support.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing therapy equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
- Assisting patients in performing prescribed therapy exercises and documenting their progress.
- Administering basic treatments, such as applying ice packs and heat pads, as directed.
- Maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy spaces, including laundering linens.
- Handling administrative tasks, such as patient intake, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned.
