Role Overview:
- The Physical Therapy Technician supports licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists by assisting in patient care and ensuring adherence to state regulations and company policies.
- As a vital team member, you will utilize your organizational skills and attention to detail to enhance patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
- Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises while documenting their progress and responses.
- Administer basic treatments as directed, including the application of ice and heat pads.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized environment for therapy sessions, which includes cleaning equipment and laundering linens.
- Support administrative functions, including assisting with patient intake, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask and maintain organizational detail.
- Proficiency in computer use and willingness to learn new software applications.
