Role Overview:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is an essential team member providing support under the direct supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- Adhering to state regulations and company protocols, the Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are crucial in contributing to our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient procedures.
- Assist and observe patients as they perform prescribed therapy exercises and accurately document their responses to treatment.
- Administer basic treatments, such as applying ice packs or heat pads as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and therapy spaces, and handle linens appropriately.
- Support administrative functions, including patient intake, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in computer usage and quick to learn new software.
