Role Overview: As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists, assisting in delivering exceptional patient care in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use.
- Assist patients in performing prescribed therapy exercises and document their responses.
- Administer basic treatments such as ice packs and heat pads as instructed by therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, including laundering linens.
- Support administrative tasks such as patient intake, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in computer use and adaptable to new software.
