SUMMARY
A skilled professional is sought to manage client relationships while exercising discretion in all matters related to fund administration. This includes overseeing fund financials, participant services, and addressing trustee concerns. The ideal candidate will be adept at reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements, monitoring income and expense fluctuations, and fostering inter-departmental relationships to ensure adherence to client-specific procedures across various functions such as Contribution Entry, Vacation, Claims, Reciprocity, Eligibility, Pension, and Accounting.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend Board of Trustees meetings, accurately record minutes, and guide departments in implementing Trustee directives while ensuring compliance with ERISA, legislative, and Department of Labor requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of all client vendors, including billing practices and services provided for each fund, and the frequency of presentations to the Board of Trustees.
- Assist consultants and attorneys in reviewing drafts, and coordinate employer and participant mailings to inform about rate changes, benefit changes, Summary Material Modifications, and Summary Annual Reports.
- Interpret and apply provisions of Plan/Trust Documents, including amendments and Summary Plan Descriptions, and research these documents to address inquiries.
- Respond to departmental inquiries regarding plan benefits, contributions, eligibility, and plan provisions, or conduct research before forwarding to legal counsel.
- Manage challenging calls or situations, including complaints against supervisors or managers and trustee requests.
- Represent Trust Funds during general audits by the Internal Revenue Services and the Department of Labor.
- Analyze, document and assist with system issues and modifications, providing specific guidance to programming regarding benefit changes.
- Oversee daily fund operations.
- Regularly report to the Board of Trustees on fund matters, including applications for ratification, appeals, and eligibility issues.
