Your Role and Responsibilities
We seek a highly technical Platform Product Manager to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of the essential technologies, systems, and services that drive Quindar's integrated mission operations platform. You will work closely with platform engineering, information security, mission integration engineering, fellow product managers, design teams, and technical program management to establish strategies, requirements, and execution plans that guarantee our platform is reliable, extensible, secure, and user-friendly for developers and mission operators alike.
Our clientele manages vast and diverse satellite constellations, each with distinct architectures and operational demands, and we provide a unified platform that automates and streamlines their mission operations. As a product manager at Quindar, your goal will be to deliver the right products and features to our customers precisely when they need them—neither too soon nor too late.
Key Focus Areas for the Platform Product Manager:
Developer Experience & Tooling: Crafting SDKs, APIs, documentation, onboarding processes, and integration frameworks to enhance developer productivity and minimize time-to-value.
Infrastructure & Deployment Environments: Overseeing cloud and on-premises deployments, environment configurations, scaling strategies, and resource optimization.
Platform Reliability & Observability: Defining SLO/SLA metrics, performance monitoring, health/status systems, incident management, and ongoing reliability enhancements.
Security, Compliance & Access Control: Ensuring robust authentication, RBAC, auditability, data governance, and compliance with security standards for mission-critical operations.
Platform Scalability & Performance: Addressing latency, throughput, extensibility, backward compatibility, and overall system performance.
