Join our dynamic team at Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel, located steps away from the iconic Eiffel Tower. We are currently seeking a Plongeur(se) Extra to assist with various responsibilities in our kitchen environment.
As a key member of our kitchen team and reporting directly to the Second Chef, your primary role will involve maintaining cleanliness and order within the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
Daily Responsibilities:
- Managing the forward workflow;
- Cleaning and organizing all kitchen utensils and dishware;
- Ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean and hygienic;
- Monitoring the condition of kitchen equipment and reporting any issues to the supervisor;
- Adhering to the recommended usage of cleaning products.
Inventory Management:
- Assisting in the inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying your supervisor of low stock;
- Organizing your cleaning space and storing dishes and equipment safely to prevent breakage;
- Contributing to effective management of dishware and equipment by alerting your supervisor of any losses or damages.
Hygiene and Safety:
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols for equipment and materials;
- Upholding hygiene standards (HACCP norms);
- Complying with the hotel's environmental commitments, such as energy-saving and recycling initiatives.
