About 1X
At 1X, we are pioneers in developing humanoid robots designed to collaborate with humans, addressing labor shortages and fostering an environment of abundance.
Your Role
Join our Hands team as an Assembly Technician where your expertise will contribute to the construction of high-precision electromechanical subassemblies for our cutting-edge humanoid robots. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and fine motor skills as you handle components measured in millimeters, utilizing fasteners smaller than M2, and achieving micron-level assembly tolerances. Your tasks will encompass working with PCBs, small motors, encoders, and delicate wire harnesses in a strict ESD-controlled environment.
Your steady hands and sharp eyes, combined with your experience in miniature components and precision tooling, will be essential. The ability to interpret engineering drawings, verify critical dimensions, and identify defects at the workstation is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of each robot produced.
