Position Overview:
We are seeking a Principal Applied AI Engineer to tackle significant challenges across our product suite and internal systems. This role requires a practical blend of software engineering, systems thinking, and artificial intelligence to create innovative solutions.
You will engage with CKEditor AI & Cloud Services, develop internal tools, and spearhead cross-functional initiatives, pinpointing opportunities for AI and automation to deliver tangible value. Your contributions will shape solutions from conception through execution.
A crucial aspect of your role will be enhancing our software development processes. You will architect and implement intelligent workflows and AI-driven systems that improve how our engineers write, review, test, and maintain software.
Notably, you are expected to integrate AI into your daily engineering practices, not merely build systems for others.

Key Responsibilities:
Address critical challenges within our products and systems, recognizing where AI or automation can yield significant benefits.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to understand issues, clarify objectives, and determine optimal approaches.
Develop practical, comprehensive solutions from architectural designs and technical planning to fully operational systems.
Construct systems that utilize LLMs, integrations, and complex workflows.
Make informed engineering decisions regarding model selection, orchestration, evaluation, latency, cost, reliability, security, and maintainability.
Write high-quality production code, create prototypes, and advance them into robust, scalable solutions.
Guide technical direction across teams, establish best practices, and assist others in successfully adopting AI.
