Principal Program Manager
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is in search of an innovative Principal Program Manager to spearhead the comprehensive delivery of a revolutionary product across the PlayStation ecosystem, encompassing hardware, software, and service platforms. This pivotal role is essential for driving cross-functional execution at scale, ensuring successful launches that captivate players around the globe. The Principal Program Manager will possess a proven track record in managing global consumer technology programs, integrating hardware and software at scale. As both a strategist and executor, this leader will develop program delivery frameworks, enhance efficiencies across diverse global teams, and communicate progress to the highest echelons of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Guide geographically distributed, cross-functional teams in delivering large-scale programs from conception to launch and eventual phase-out.
- Provide strategic oversight and, where applicable, lead a team of Technical Program Managers.
- Act as the program’s spokesperson to executives and stakeholders, ensuring visibility and alignment throughout all phases.
Strategic Program Management
- Define and influence program delivery strategies, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Implement best practices in product development, spanning hardware, software, and services.
- Establish frameworks and metrics that monitor progress, identify risks, and promote continuous enhancement.
