About the job
ABOUT ROCKET LAB
Rocket Lab is a pioneering end-to-end space enterprise dedicated to making space accessible. We provide responsive launch services, comprehensive spacecraft design and manufacturing, payload solutions, satellite components, and more. Our mission is to facilitate access to space for scientific exploration, Earth observation, climate change initiatives, national security, and groundbreaking technology demonstrations.
Our Electron rocket has risen to prominence as the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket, successfully delivering over 230 satellites into orbit. We're also advancing the development of Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed for larger constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is at the forefront of spacecraft design, developing a wide array of satellites, payloads, and components, including those selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and technologies used in the James Webb Space Telescope.
SPACE SYSTEMS
At Rocket Lab, we are not just launching rockets; we are shaping the future of space technology. Our Space Systems team is responsible for creating everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the subsystems that enable their operational success in space, such as solar panels, flight software, star trackers, optical systems, and radios.
To date, our Space Systems team has facilitated over 1,700 missions, spanning interplanetary exploration, in-space manufacturing, and national defense initiatives. We have developed spacecraft and components for missions to the Moon and Mars, collaborating with esteemed partners such as NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U.S. Space Force. Whether building a high-performance spacecraft, a constellation, or the integrated components that enable them to reach orbit, our world-class Space Systems team is committed to empowering some of the most ambitious space missions.
