Position Overview:
The RN or LPN will deliver compassionate and comprehensive nursing care as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, focusing on clients with eating disorders and related comorbid conditions. This role encompasses care in both inpatient and residential higher levels of care (HLOC), as well as outpatient settings, particularly for clients engaged in day programming (PHP/IDP).
Work Schedule:
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring two 12-hour shifts per month.
Compensation:
The starting hourly rate ranges from $30.00 to $42.00, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and experience.
Nursing Responsibilities in Empowering Recovery:
- Conduct assessments, monitor health, and implement interventions to address client health concerns effectively.
- Oversee medication management, including education, adherence assessment, administration (in inpatient and residential settings), and monitoring for side effects, in collaboration with the healthcare provider.
- Assist medical and psychiatric providers in coordinating medical care.
- Facilitate medical care coordination among patients, providers, staff, families, and external agencies as necessary.
- Act as a resource for clients' medical needs and information.
- Identify and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
