Join Rawafid as a talented Process CAD Designer / Drafter, where your skills will contribute significantly to our engineering team. In this vital position, you will be tasked with developing precise process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and various CAD drawings that are critical to our process engineering initiatives. You will work in close collaboration with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure that all design documentation is accurate and supports the seamless execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and revise P&IDs utilizing SmartPlant P&ID or similar software.
- Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) in alignment with process engineering specifications.
- Produce detailed process equipment layout drawings that comply with plant design and spatial limitations.
- Draft piping schematic diagrams to facilitate system comprehension and construction processes.
- Assist in the development of instrument loop diagrams in coordination with the I&C discipline.
- Oversee ISA 5.1 symbol libraries, ensuring uniformity across all process documentation.
- Extract and maintain line lists from P&IDs, ensuring data integrity.
- Conduct consistency checks among P&IDs, line lists, and associated engineering databases.
- Create process area plot plans in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Develop schematics for chemical dosing systems and related process diagrams.
- Generate utility flow diagrams for plant systems and assist in infrastructure design.
- Incorporate findings from HAZOP into updates and markups of P&IDs.
- Manage drawing revisions to comply with project document control protocols.
