What You’ll Do
Oversee and optimize the complete procurement lifecycle, from initial request to final contract execution, ensuring compliance and risk management standards are met.
Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to monitor key procurement metrics, including Time-to-Contract, Savings against Budget, and Vendor Concentration Risk.
Collaborate with Engineering and EngOps to source technical tools, ensuring vendors meet our scalability, security, and performance requirements.
Conduct regular audits of spending data to identify inefficiencies, 'ghost spending,' and potential vendor consolidation opportunities.
Assist in negotiating terms for renewals and new contracts, emphasizing price transparency and favorable service conditions.
Act as the primary consultant for internal teams, clarifying procurement policies and supporting ad-hoc operational requests to enhance company-wide efficiency.
About You
You possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in Google Sheets/Excel, with a comfort level that includes Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization techniques.
You have a foundational understanding of (or a keen interest in) SaaS contract mechanics, including licensing models and renewal cycles.
You exhibit high attention to detail and take pride in maintaining accurate documentation and streamlined data workflows.
You can simplify complex procurement processes into clear instructions for non-expert stakeholders.
You grasp the balance between 'perfection' and 'delivery,' and you are not hesitant to ask 'why' to achieve better outcomes.
