As a Product Compliance Engineer at XP Power, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products and materials meet the necessary compliance standards. Your expertise will be critical in developing and implementing compliance programs, completing essential documentation, and recommending process improvements. Candidates with substantial experience may qualify for a senior role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify relevant compliance standards and requirements, and formulate compliance policies and strategies.
- Lead the execution of both short-term and long-term compliance implementation programs, including roadmaps, plans, schedules, tools, resources, testing standards, conformity assessments, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Interpret compliance regulations, analyze associated business risks, propose optimal procedures, and develop risk mitigation plans while advising stakeholders on relevant compliance issues.
- Prepare, file, and sign off on compliance reports, declarations, and related documentation.
- Manage the materials compliance database, ensuring data integrity by implementing a robust engineering approval process.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and emerging compliance practices to integrate them into daily operations.
- Address customer compliance requests promptly and collaborate with stakeholders to meet customer needs effectively.
- Standardize documentation processes and templates (e.g., reports, declarations) by implementing industry best practices.
