Take charge of the user-facing booking process: including search and filtering, hotel detail pages, availability displays, and checkout workflows, while assessing conversion metrics.
Make product decisions with a consumer-centric approach, ensuring clarity, trust, and simplicity while navigating technical limitations from backend systems (such as inconsistent availability models, rate structures, and cancellation policies) to create a seamless user experience.
Collaborate closely with founders and backend engineers to ensure product vision aligns with technical execution.
Iterate continuously on UX, flow structure, and user friction points based on real-world usage data.
Engage in hands-on frontend engineering approximately 50% of the time.
Dedicate around 30% of your time to defining product specifications based on business needs.
Spend about 20% of your time coordinating with backend teams to influence API design and system behavior.
