What We Seek:
2U is on the lookout for a Product Manager to spearhead the technical foundation for organic growth within the edX Marketplace.
In a marketplace as vast as edX, maintaining the technical health of edX.org is crucial for enabling organic discovery. This role is responsible for the product roadmap that ensures edX is structurally robust for discovery through traditional search engines, AI-powered platforms, and the learners who depend on fast, accessible, and well-structured web experiences to find what they need.
As the Product Manager for Technical SEO & Site Performance, you will translate SEO strategies into actionable, engineering-ready requirements—managing the product backlog for site architecture, crawlability, indexability, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and LLM/AIO optimization. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and SEO teams, working alongside the organic strategy lead, the GPM Organic Discovery & Content Experience, and the engineering organization to implement a technical roadmap that enhances domain authority, search visibility, and AI discoverability.
This is a specialized and impactful role. The ideal candidate combines the rigor of product management with deep technical SEO knowledge—capable of interpreting site audits, prioritizing crawl budget discussions with engineers, and converting an AIO optimization strategy into a structured data implementation plan.
