As the Product Manager, you will spearhead essential product management initiatives, including roadmap formulation, customer insights gathering, internal collaboration, partner involvement, and launch strategy development. Your mission will be to ensure the delivery of ethical and impactful AI across ArcGIS, while also playing a pivotal role in advancing AI application strategies that empower users to effectively utilize ArcGIS AI components.
Responsibilities
- Transform customer demands, market potential, and competitive insights into structured product specifications, problem definitions, and a prioritized roadmap, ensuring a balance between innovation, feasibility, and customer trust.
- Collaborate with software development teams throughout the entire lifecycle of AI products.
- Engage with partners, distributors, and global business development to drive the adoption of AI capabilities, support collaborative solution development, and collect customer insights from diverse markets.
- Develop and support launch strategies alongside Product Marketing by crafting compelling messaging, writing value propositions, creating demos, producing enablement content, and supporting events.
- Assist Sales, Software Engineering, and Product Marketing with competitive insights, demos, RFP and RFI responses, and guidance on pricing strategies.
- Lead customer-facing initiatives such as early adopter programs, beta testing, advisory sessions, roadmap reviews, and strategic briefings.
- Establish actionable feedback mechanisms with Support, Sales, and other teams to identify challenges and opportunities, and synthesize insights into Productboard for prioritization.
- Implement operational excellence by maintaining metrics dashboards and facilitating cross-team communication rhythms to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with Legal, Security, Privacy, and IT teams to ensure compliance, data sovereignty, accessibility, and responsible AI governance are integrated into features and user scenarios.
- Provide internal training to enhance organizational understanding of AI capabilities.
- Represent Esri and your product areas at conferences, webinars, user groups, partner summits, and technical communities, effectively communicating product strategy and best practices in geospatial AI.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and AI platform teams to define technical specifications, select model integration patterns, validate evaluation metrics, design safeguards, and ensure that assistants and agents adhere to specified requirements.
