About the job
Product Marketing Manager
Transforming a $25B+ Market
Prominent companies such as AWS, Stripe, and Twilio have demonstrated that technology not central to your core value should be outsourced. Yet, all engineering teams consistently face one challenge: authorization—managing access control within your application. Our mission is to revolutionize this space.
We envision a future where developers no longer craft their own authorization systems, instead opting for "Just use Oso", akin to the way they might say, "Just use Postgres." By doing so, we are paving the way for a burgeoning $25B+ authorization market.
Why Choose Oso?
We lead the charge in traction, funding, and expertise:
Traction: Oso is trusted by thousands of organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including Wayfair, ProductBoard, Vanta, Brex, Verizon, ZoomInfo, and Duolingo.
Capital: Our vision is supported by top-tier investors, including Sequoia, Felicis, and a distinguished group of industry veterans: Olivier Pomel (Founder, Datadog), Dev Ittycheria (CEO, MongoDB), Armon Dadgar (Founder, HashiCorp), and others.
Team: With over five years of deep engagement in this domain, we’ve partnered with thousands of engineering teams to tackle one of the most significant challenges in software development.
Why Now?
We’re at a pivotal moment. With a robust product, a vibrant community, and a developer-first approach already established, we are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to bridge our innovations with the end-users who will benefit from them.
Key Responsibilities
Positioning & Messaging – Craft and refine Oso's narrative for various segments, channels, and personas, translating intricate concepts into straightforward, developer-centric messaging.
Feature Launches – Spearhead go-to-market strategies for new feature releases and enhancements. Ensure users grasp the value through comprehensive documentation, announcements, and onboarding processes.
Storytelling – Collaborate with the content team to articulate Oso’s value proposition through customer success stories, blog articles, webinars, and other formats.
Product Adoption – Work closely with growth, Developer Relations, and sales teams to enhance user engagement and product understanding.
