Your Role as Product Owner - Core Payments
As we continue to innovate in the payments space, we are looking for our inaugural Product Owner - Core Payments based in London. This pivotal role involves taking charge of our payments infrastructure across diverse markets and payment systems, including cryptocurrencies. You will be responsible for negotiating with partners and orchestrating integrations with engineering teams, blending strategic insight with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with the founding team to develop and scale our core payments products.
Identify and drive new initiatives, negotiate with strategic partners, and define integration scopes.
Oversee the performance and operational excellence of our existing payment systems.
Work closely with engineering, operations, legal, and compliance teams to deliver exceptional products.
Monitor payment flows post-launch, troubleshoot issues, and spearhead continuous improvements.
Prioritize product tasks to foster transaction growth and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications for Success
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-growth fintech environment, prestigious consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), or investment banking.
Robust analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable diving deep into data and processes.
Highly driven and ambitious, with aspirations to advance into leadership roles, ultimately leading the Core Payments department.
A proactive self-starter who excels in ambiguous situations, taking ownership and guiding teams to deliver results.
Exceptional communicator and collaborator, adept at engaging with founders and cross-functional stakeholders.
