POSITION OVERVIEW
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Product Quality Engineer to enhance our growing team. This is more than a position; it’s a chance to lead the technical vision for our products while collaborating with a world-class, multi-disciplinary team to make a meaningful impact from the outset. The ideal candidate will closely engage with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to achieve product goals and nurture a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Drive reliability execution for photonic components, including Silicon Photonics ICs, lasers (DFB, CW lasers, etc.), and Optoelectronic SiPs in high-speed optical networks.
- Collaborate with R&D and design engineering to provide early reliability insights during the product development lifecycle.
- Define and implement qualification plans in line with Telcordia/GR-468, JEDEC, and other pertinent standards for telecom and datacom products.
- Conduct accelerated life testing (ALT), failure analysis, degradation modeling, and root cause investigations to inform design and process enhancements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Photonics Design, Packaging, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure effective product development and production transition.
- Oversee supplier qualification efforts and establish supplier quality metrics for critical photonics components.
