Job Summary:
As a crucial member of our operations team, the Production Lead will oversee specific Service Bureau equipment while taking on a leadership role in production and associate decision-making in the absence of the Production Supervisor. This position works on the 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned Service Bureau equipment effectively and efficiently.
- Provide guidance to associates during the Supervisor's absence.
- Collaborate closely with the Supervisor to ensure adherence to customer directives, manage deliveries, address emergencies, and resolve data issues while minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization.
- Utilize the ERP system to accurately log time and materials.
- Monitor and maintain production quality standards through sampling and inspections.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance by contacting service technicians when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels and organization of pre-printed materials in the warehouse.
- Ensure timely delivery of customer data and communicate any delays to the Supervisor for appropriate actions.
Other duties may be assigned by management, and regular attendance is essential for this role. Compliance with company policies, including maintaining a drug-free workplace and adhering to safety procedures, is required.
