The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating, coordinating, and overseeing all production activities to achieve budgetary and production objectives. This includes maximizing quality and capacity utilization while effectively reducing costs and lead times. The successful candidate will also spearhead and execute action plans aimed at the continuous improvement of all production-related processes.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Lead and synchronize all production activities within the plant, transforming strategic goals into actionable plans to ensure alignment with customer and business expectations.
- Participate in strategic and operational planning, including aspects such as investments, capacity management, workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, and assessing the financial performance of production cost centers.
- Supervise production operations encompassing processes, equipment, quality control, internal logistics (for semi-finished goods), data collection, and KPI monitoring (cost, lead time, quality, scrap, waste, energy, OEE) alongside compliance with environmental, safety, and health (ESH) standards.
- Drive performance enhancements by implementing centralized production standards, supporting KPI reporting, and initiating strategies to boost process efficiency, quality, and overall operational excellence through Continuous Business Solutions (CBS) methodologies.
- Act as a core liaison among segments, business units, and divisional functions, facilitating cross-functional projects and providing insightful feedback to bolster the ongoing development of production, equipment, logistics, and quality standards.
- Lead and cultivate a skilled production workforce through effective training management, coaching, continuous skill development, and close collaboration with the Human Resources department.
