The Production Materials Technician is responsible for the operational coordination of activities related to materials necessary for clinical and commercial batch productions. This role involves collaboration between production departments and other services, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
Mission 1: Documentation Activities Related to Material Coding
- Assist in the transfer of processes, collaborating with the development and MSAT teams to identify materials requiring coding as early as possible.
- Draft coding requests for any new materials required for production within set deadlines, in accordance with internal procedures and GMP.
- Update existing specification sheets to comply with regulatory requirements and client submissions.
- Review and revise material specification sheets following changes notified by suppliers.
- Request necessary documentation from suppliers for the coding of new materials according to regulatory requirements and monitor the officialization of material specification sheets.
- Participate in weekly material committees to present any requests for the creation of material codes.
- Submit Material Availability Requests for the production service.
- Draft Requests for Restricted Use with Additional Actions (DURAA) for any materials under complaint that are essential for production, adhering to internal site rules.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities for documentation facilitating material coding.
Mission 2: Writing and Implementation of Deviations
- Document deviations related to your activities.
- Collaborate with the Production Materials Expert to investigate material-related issues for the Production Department.
- Manage CAPA or CCP Actions related to material issues.
