As a vital member of our risk engineering team, you will drive premium production through precise risk analysis and efficient distribution of our Allied Healthcare Professional Liability products. By collaborating with engineering, design, data, and operations teams, you will utilize your industry knowledge and broker relationships to underwrite and expand Counterpart’s Allied Healthcare portfolio, which includes E&O and GL coverages for healthcare practitioners and social service providers. Your contributions will be instrumental in boosting broker demand and positioning Counterpart as a premier player in the Allied Healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass underwriting performance and revenue targets for the Allied Healthcare Professional Liability segment, adhering to our established procedures.
- Quickly and thoughtfully price Allied Healthcare accounts with competitive terms, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of healthcare practitioner exposures and risk dynamics.
- Manage quote-related communications and inquiries in a professional and reliable manner, serving as an underwriting resource to brokers on the intricacies of Allied Healthcare coverage.
- Work closely with the Director of Allied Healthcare Liability and the broader underwriting team to understand the unique exposures of complex Allied Healthcare accounts.
- Provide market insights and suggest improvements to our Allied Healthcare terms, rates, guidelines, coverage structures, and policy forms to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Assist in developing underwriting guidelines, decision trees, and rating logic specific to Allied Healthcare classes in collaboration with product and data teams.
- Engage continuously with your assigned brokers to bind accounts, optimizing quote-to-bind efficiency across the Allied Healthcare portfolio.
- Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and various industry events.
